Meet our Team
Megan Campbell
CEO, Founder, Certified level I & II, Pre & Post Natal Barre and Badass Barre Instructor Megan, an Alaskan native turned Colorado local in 2012, left Alaska in 2000 and went to college at Arizona State University getting a degree in Business and Communication. Before having children she was an Insurance Agent for 7 years and then stayed at home with her 2 kids for 4 years. She considers herself to have workout A.D.D. meaning she has never found a workout she could stick with until she found Barre. She has been taking Barre for 6 years and teaching it for 3 years. She started this business in July 2015 because she wanted to give her community and Denver a different option when it came to Barre. A place that allows people to feel and be themselves, that think outside the typical "barre" studio box and a place that people could achieve their goals each and every class. She prides herself on her teaching style and creativity during every single class. Everything she does is outside the box, one step ahead and innovative. |
Rebecca Minor
Barre Instructor Rebecca took her first barre class in 2016 and was instantly hooked! Once she decided to get her mom-bod back in shape, she needed to find a fitness routine she could stick with. At Barre in the Park, she not only found barre fitness — she found a coach that motivated her and a community of women that supported her on her journey!! Barre has transformed Rebecca’s body to a leaner, stronger version of itself and changed her vision of exercise. Exercise used to be a necessary evil, but now is a fun, energizing part of her life! Rebecca wanted to connect with others on their fitness journey and expand her knowledge of barre fitness, so she got certified in 2018. She teaches classes every week and would love to “see you at the barre” soon!
Melissa Wyckhuyse
Barre Instructor This hilarious mom of 2 is originally from Michigan and a graduate of Michigan State. She got out of dodge in 2007 because of that weather. She loves Colorado and the active lifestyle it promotes! Working out is her outlet for staying sane and healthy. She loves all different types of exercise, but has been a fan of barre for years. She has been toying with the idea of teaching for some time and decided to start checking some things off her bucket list before her big 40th birthday. She has a full-time job selling pharmaceuticals and loves it, but teaching barre fills her bucket! She loves encouraging others and finds joy in laughter, friendships and achieving her personal goals. She is a mental health advocate and a member of the Alzheimer’s Association and fundraisers on behalf of her father who is currently battling the disease. Other interests include reading, travel, photography, skiing and wine! Come and take a class with her, it will be high energy, full of humor and a booty burner! Rachel Zavala
Barre Instructor She proudly calls herself the anti-diet dietitian! Her work with eating disorder patients has taught her that broccoli is just as nourishing as pie, and that food should not be approached with a rule book. Your choice of food and exercise should be rooted in enjoyment and what helps you pursue values in life.
She found her way to the barre after years of running and subsequent physical therapy for injuries. While running will always be her first love, barre has been a wonderful addition that keeps her injuries in-check. When she is not at the barre you can find her exploring mountain towns or back in her hometown in DC eating crab cakes! |
